Industry Manufacturers and Suppliers Honored at TISE 2019. The International Surface Event I Exhibits: January 23 – January 25, 2019 The International Surface Event chose the “Best Of” Awards Program winners for TISE 2019 and Breton USA was chosen as the winner of the Best Of Innovation.
TISE, along with the awards program sponsors, including Stone World, hosted the “Best Of” Award program to celebrate industry innovation and ingenuity, and exhibitors’ contributions to the floor coverings industry.
Breton USA was recognized for the depth and level of work that goes into developing such innovative solutions for the stone industry.
Combicut: 5-axis CNC Bridge Saw
The Combicut won the Best Of Innovation award for its Miterwave technology.
This CNC Breton bridge saw uses a diamond blade and waterjet for cutting natural and engineered stone to perfection. In 2005, Breton introduced the Combicut, the stone industry's first ever sawjet.
To this day, it is an undisputed industry-leader for accuracy, ease-of-use, efficiency, ergonomics, optimizing production and SAFETY.
Renowned for its precision and durability, this interpolated 5-axis bridge saw has a rotating head for executing complex rectilinear, curvilinear and inclined cuts, even on materials that trouble the most advanced diamond blades and experienced CNC operators.
MiterWave: "Best Of" Innovation
We are Driven by Innovation. There is ample evidence in this as Breton continues to pursue excellence.
For example, a couple years ago, Breton introduced MiterWave technology, a hardware/software package used for consistently executing perfect 45° miter cuts on uneven surfaces.
TISE recognized Breton for this innovative technology and Breton USA was very happy to be there and accept it.
However, this comes as no surprise to us, considering Breton's Research & Development department's commitment to pursuing innovation.
MiterWave automatically measures and corrects the cutting trajectories by interpolating them continuously with the slab surface for virtually perfect results, requiring less adhesive bonding during installation and a more flush fit.

The Genya 600 was also on exhibit at Breton USA’s booth this year. This two-machine booth captured the elegance of bridge saws.
